Soft and balsamic, barrique Grappa-Grappa is created by blending grappas from different grape varieties, mainly Amarone, distilled in handcrafted copper stills. Ageing for over 12 months in ‘heavily toasted’ Slavonian oak casks draws out sweet tannins and a deep amber color. This innovative use of heavily toasted barriques is the latest stage of acquired craftsmanship skills applied to seeking harmonious flavor that transforms an ethnic product like grappa into an outstanding brown spirit.
